Who am I?

I am a goofy, loving, compassionate, intense, heretical, resilient, laughing, curious, patient, courageous, kind, joyful, purpose-driven, tap-dancing crone.

Why am I here?

I am here to love. I was thinking about Parker Palmer’s comment, “It is not ‘what are you doing with your life?’ but ‘what is your life trying to do with you?” Life is showing me that, like adrienne maree brown, I believe that “relationships are everything.” Being here allows me the opportunity to build personal integrity, value perpetual learning, and be part of building communities of the heart. I am here to live a life filled with both purpose and joy. To do all that, requires love. I aim for an extravagant, wasteful, God-size love. A love so big that the people in my life feel like it is courageous to ask for help, know that everyone is scared, but that we are less scared together, and when they get lost, love can always bring them home.
